MISSION

MISSION:
Na  Tahuna Ikaika Lapaau O Hawaii
                                  Heiau O Lono

Our Origins:

We were organized by the Tahuna Lapaau Hoomana in 1974.  We are the Indigenous Hawaiian Tahuna Hoomana of Hawaii.  We carry on the mission of all our Kahuna and Tupuna from the past to present.

In 1965, one of the highest Tahuna Nui O Pari Tu Sam Ho'opii Lono, began to organize (at that time it was theTemple of Rono),

to keep the Tahuna and the Tupuna huna mana sacred, and to continue to follow the protocols of our ancestors for this generation

and for the generations to come.  This was done with the full realization that these protocols had been missunderstood, and distorted time and time again in the past.

We endeavor to create, develop, and to protect the wisdom and knowledge of our sacred Heiau, and other sacred sites, and

the iwi (bones) of our ancestors.  We also seek to preserve that wisdom, knowledge, and way of life along with protocols

that were taught in the ancient Heiau.

We must go to that Mana IO o ta lani the supreme source, the Atua, and Rono ta Aumatua.   It is from there that the Huna Mana, Maiola come from.  Without that mana all the indigenous Hawaiian poe will have a difficult time moving forward for the Pono of our Hawai'i.

The Indigenous Hawaiian Tahuna Lapaau Hoomana will share the key wisdom of Hawaii and the Honua.  Through the ike of our ancestors, and Io, our vision is to reopen the sacred sites that our ancestors once taught from.  These sacred temple's  are here in our home land and they have been built for our Hawaiian po'e and we have the protocols to open the Huna Mana, and the knowledge of the Ancient One's of Mu, and the Hawaiian Hoomana practices.

Heiau O Lono can be shared.  It is in this way that the ancient knowledge and wisdom of Hawaii can Hoo Ulu
